Colección Otoño-Invierno 2014-2015 The Savilians de Mahogany

The latest collection from Mahogany Hairdressing, `The Savilians´, takes strong references from the Victorian artisan clientele of the Savile Club and the iconic Yves Saint Laurent `Le Smoking Tuxedo´ shot, immortalised by the late great fashion photographer Helmut Newton.

Founded in 1868, The Savile Club members were known as `The Savilians´, it´s clientele made up of many prominent artists and writers with one common demeanour, Savile Row!

With this collection the Mahogany Creative Team pay homage to the excellence and tailoring of Savile Row, empowering this collection with androgynous, mysterious and alluring women.

Remaining absolute to the Mahogany Hairdressing viewpoint, cutting techniques are used to create head-hugging fitted tailored shapes whilst incorporating substantial disconnection.

Colour fuses clever combinations of warm and cool tones to recreate the feel of textures found in the fabrics of tailoring, creating the 'touchable' effects of silk and velvet.
